TO THE FREEWARE FONT COMMUNITY

I can't say enough about Nick Curtis. The fact he graciously
makes his gorgeous fonts available for free, makes him one
of my all time favorite font designers. - Laura O

I am a retro font junkie. Anything resembling the style of the
30s 50s is a must have. Nicks fonts always make me think
of my childhood, growing up in a little rural community that still
had hand-painted signs in Art Deco/Nouveau lettering that had
been lovingly cared for decades, going grocery shopping at the
A&P, of times that were simpler and people seemed to laugh more.

For some odd reason, Mr. Curtis made a cameo appearance
in a dream I had last night. I'm not even sure what Nick looks like,
yet there he was. This man's ability to permeate my thoughts as
I sleep - while admittedly slightly disturbing - must say something
positive about his abilities as a type designer. - Brandon Shoepf
Tepid Monkey Fonts

Nick Curtis has had a number of recent releases, by ITC in particular,
of his specialty - Art Deco-style fonts. It's great to see these energetic
cheerful typefaces being digitized and it's even better that many of them
are free at Nick's site. Whether these are new designs or revivals, they are
true to the feel of the types of those days, and they make great headline
and display fonts. It's like a font candy store, visiting Nick's site.
